Opened in January 2009, The League of Friends shop offers all that is needed at affordable prices to anyone staying in, visiting or just passing by the Hospital.

Whether you are looking for a hot or cold drink, a tasty sandwich, snack, a health bar or piece of chocolate, it is all available here.

It also offers a wide range of newspapers and magazines, toys, baby clothes, toiletries, greetings cards and much much more.

It is well worth a visit.

North Block Kiosk

Opened on  1st March  2010, our new kiosk will serve customers at the former main entrance to the Hospital in London Road.Whether you are looking for a hot or cold drink, snacks or sandwiches or just something to read, then this is the place to go, again at affordable prices.

NEW South Block Shop

         Opening Hours

         Monday - Friday     9.00am - 4.30pm

Opened on November 1st 2011, our shop offers hot drinks, cold drinks, sandwiches, snacks, newpapers and magazines, League of Friends have set up a shop to offer the neccesities to this busy outpatients area.

A hot drinks vending machine is located outside the shop, also run by LOF

Volunteers are required to help in this shop. 

Ward Trolley Rounds

Trolley rounds service goes out around the wards and departments of the Hospital.  

Starting at 9.30am monday to friday,  and 10 am on a saturday and sunday. On the trolley are a selection of newpapers and magazines, confectionary, drinks snacks and toiletries.

Volunteers are always being sought to assist with the running of the trolley rounds if you can spare 3 hours one morning a week.
