Caversham Court Charity Kiosk

Set on the banks of the River Thames in Caversham, where better to spend an afternoon than in the splendid newly reopened Caversham Court Gardens.

The Tea Kiosk is currently due to Covid 19 restrictions.  We hope to re-open as soon as we are allowed.

In July of 2009 the gardens re-opened to the public in a majestic opening ceremony. On hand were 4 local charities to serve refreshments to the large crowds.

The Caversham Court kiosk, set in the gardens is manned in rotation by League of Friends of the Royal Berkshire Hospital, Ways and Means Trust, WI, Duchess of Kent House and Compass group Garden cafe.  It sells teas, coffees and squash along with a selection of homebaked cakes and biscuits, all on sale at affordable prices.

Currently the kiosk opens in the months from April - October on a Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday afternoon.

During the summer holidays from end of July until first week in September the Tea Kiosk will also open on a Monday

The opening hours for 2020 will be

March, April, May, September, October  11am - 5pm

June, July, August  11am - 6pm
