Caversham Court 2012
Charity Kiosk
Set on the banks of the River Thames in Caversham, where better to spend an afternoon than in the splendid newly reopened Caversham Court Gardens.
In July of 2009 the gardens re-opened to the public in a majestic opening ceremony. On hand were 4 local charities to serve refreshments to the large crowds.
The Caversham Court kiosk, set in the gardens is manned in rotation by League of Friends of the Royal Berkshire Hospital, Ways and Means Trust, WI and Duchess of Kent House. It sells teas, coffees and squash along with a selection of homebaked cakes and biscuits, all on sale at affordable prices.
Currently the kiosk opens in the months from April - October on a Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday afternoon.
