League of Friends of the Royal Berkshire Hospital Official Website

The Executive Committee and volunteers of the League of Friends of the Royal Berkshire Hospital have one main aim, that is to improve the care and comfort of the patients, visitors and staff, above and beyond what is funded and provided by the NHS.

  Main Activities that you could help the League of Friends with:

• We have numerous retail outlets around the hospital, some are open 7 days a week, volunteers are always welcome to assist in these.
• Fundraising events such as the fete. We hold many other events throughout the year that require volunteer assistance.
• Flag collection days, throughout the Reading area at out of town supermarkets and shopping centres. Collectors are always being sought.
